CAN ALL OF MY CLIENTS WEAR HAIR EXTENSIONS WITH MONKEY BARRZ?
Actually, more clients than ever can wear hair extensions now. This is because
fusion with Monkey Barrz requires no tension on their natural hair or scalp.
In some cases the client's hair is just too fine and slick to grip any braiding,
weaving, or tying techniques. In other cases, the client's scalp may produce
too much natural oil to sustain wax-based glue or latex bond.
These situations are not a problem when using Monkey Barrz. Its not a wax, silicone,
latex or acrylic. Monkey Barrz is a special nylon blend, designed to meet the
multitude of requirements for safely bonding hair to hair.
You must, of course do a professional analysis of your client's hair and scalp.
If you determine they're suitable for fusion style extensions, they should have
great success wearing Monkey Barrz.

CAN THE MONKEY BARRZ ADHESIVE DAMAGE MY CLIENT'S HAIR?
One of the main reasons Monkey Barrz is only sold to you (the licensed cosmetologist)
is your ability to do a proper hair and scalp analysis. It's more important
for extensions than it is for some chemical services you offer. Many clients
can avoid distroying their hair trying to achieve a certain look or constantly
changing their style. By using hair extensions instead, you can give them the
desired volume, length, style and sometimes … even colors. (Perms and bleach
don't "fix" everything!)
Some people may have natural or chemically induced "cotton-candy" hair,
even at the roots. This person would not be a good candidate for any extension
service. You should only do extensions if the scalp and roots are sound. If
you have doubts, do a test run. Apply a few extensions, let your client wear
them for two months and see how they do. Clients with super fine hair should
only wear extensions for a maximum of 8 weeks in between touch-ups. I don't
care what anyone says . . . promising people they can wear their extensions
for more than 3 months (tops) is just asking for trouble.
The Monkey Barrz adhesive, in itself will not damage your client's hair (if
it’s healthy enough in the beginning). What's important is proper placement
of the extensions in relation to the client's root direction. You’ll receive

in your Starter Kit.

Extension services can work hand in hand with all of your other chemical and
styling services. It’s another reason Monkey Barrz is for professional use only.
With your education, experience and a little planning, you'll be creating amazing
hair designs.

MUST I REHEAT MONKEY BARRZ ADHESIVE ONCE IT IS APPLIED?
No, unlike the early years of hair fusion, you do not reheat or purge Monkey Barrz. This unnecessary step is eliminated during the manufacturing process.
This helps minimize your application time and reduce stress on your client's
hair.

IS THERE ANY WAY TO AVOID BURNING MY FINGERS?
Yes! I created the Monkey Pads just for this purpose. Now, you can do a client's
entire head without getting a single blister. The Monkey Pads are designed to
keep your fingers from coming into direct contact with the adhesive. And, they
help you mold a perfect connection.

HOW DOES HEAT AFFECT MONKEY BARRZ?
Hot weather and blow-drying will not affect Monkey Barrz. Simply avoid direct
contact on the adhesive with curling or flat irons while styling.

HOW DO I REMOVE THE MONKEY BARRZ FROM MY CLIENT'S HAIR?
The removal is quick, easy and clean. Always use the specially designed Monkey Barrz Removing Solution to take down the extensions. The process is demonstrated
in detail in the Monkey Barrz Instructional DVD.
Shampoo the hair once or twice following removal and you are ready to continue
the next service.

WILL THE MONKEY BARRZ ADHESIVE REMOVING SOLUTION DAMAGE MY
CLIENT'S HAIR?
No. Your clients will find this removal process more comfortable than many other
adhesives and/or techniques. It’s extremely important that your clients come
in for their regular touch-up appointments. It's not the Monkey Barrz or Removing
Solution that will cause damage. Damage occurs when clients are told their hair
extensions will last for several months. Easy removal depends on timely
touch-up appointments. No extensions should be left in for more than 2-3 months,
depending on the client's particular hair type and condition. You want to remove
them before too much “tangling” occurs between the scalp and point of attachment.
Again, the finer the hair, the sooner they should be removed.

CAN THE EXTENSION HAIR BE USED AGAIN AFTER THEY’RE REMOVED?
If the removal process is followed as directed in the instructional DVD, you
may use the hair extensions several times. I’ve personally had clients use the
same hair for 3-4 touchups. Of course this depends on how long we’ve made the
extensions the first time. The longer the extension hair, the more often you
can reuse it.

IS IT EXPENSIVE TO USE MONKEY BARRZ?
No. Monkey Barrz is designed to flow through a temperature controlled trigger-fed
gun with minimal to no dripping. When compared to other backbar expenses, such
as tints and perms, the cost of using Monkey Barrz is miniscule. This means
more money where it belongs . . . in your pocket!
