Here are a few things to really consider before using the Monkey Barrz System on your client. Mine, like several other extension adhesives, is removed with an acetone based solution. Therefore, here are some questions you may ask your client:
1) Are you allergic to acetone . . .
(the main ingredient in nail polish remover)?
2) Are you allergic to plastic or nylon?
Some other considerations would be:
1) Medications (oral or topical - especially on the scalp)
2) Any history of alopecia areata
3) Pending or current chemotherapy/radiation treatment
These considerations are just some of the reasons Monkey Barrz is sold only to licensed hair professionals. My goal's to help ensure the correct and safe use of Monkey Barrz for stylists and their clientele.
